Collection: iPad Pro Cases

iPad Pro cases for the 11-inch and 13-inch models, cut for the Pro's camera housing and thinner body. Keyboard folios, pencil-holder covers and slim shells that don't fight the magnetic accessories.

The Pro is thinner, which changes the case

Recent iPad Pro generations are noticeably thinner than the Air, and a case built with Air tolerances sits loose on a Pro. Loose means the tablet shifts inside the case, the magnets fall out of alignment, and the auto-sleep function starts working intermittently — which people usually blame on the iPad.

The camera housing is also larger on the Pro. As with phones, a cutout that is close but not correct shadows the edge of wide shots and, more practically, lets grit collect in the gap.

Frequently asked questions

Will an iPad Air case fit an iPad Pro?

An iPad Air case will not fit an iPad Pro correctly even at the same screen size, because the Pro is thinner and the camera housing is larger. The fit is loose and the magnets misalign.

Which iPad Pro size do I have?

You can check which iPad Pro you have in Settings under General, then About. The model number there distinguishes the 11-inch and 13-inch versions and the generation.

Do these cases work with the Magic Keyboard?

Slim back shells listed as Magic Keyboard compatible work with it. Full folios do not, since the Magic Keyboard needs direct contact with the tablet's back.

Does the case block the Smart Connector?

Cases here leave the Smart Connector pins exposed unless the product page states otherwise, so keyboard accessories still attach.
