This is the single most common iPad case mistake. In some generations the Air and the 11-inch Pro share almost the same footprint, so a case slides on and appears to fit, and marketplace listings happily claim both. Then the camera cutout is wrong, or the case is a fraction loose and the sleep magnets stop lining up.
