Watch out: the MacBook Air 13.6 and the MacBook Pro 13.3 are almost the same size. Measuring will not settle it, so click the Apple menu, then About This Mac, and read the first line.

Does not fit: MacBook Pro 15-inch and earlier, the 12-inch MacBook, or older MacBook Air bodies.

A deep, earthy marsala, somewhere between red wine and terracotta. On the lid of your MacBook it looks rich and grown-up, one warm colour that goes with leather, linen and dark wood.

Please note: this is a slim hard-shell cover, not a rugged case. It protects against everyday scratches and scuffs, but it is not drop protection and we do not claim a drop rating.

Keeping the print looking new

The design sits under a protective coated finish, which is what stops it fading, blurring or rubbing away at the spot where your hand rests when you close the lid.

What damages any printed surface is alcohol. Hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and surface spray can lift the print, and the pale patch does not come back. A soft cloth, barely damp with water, is the whole routine.

Take the shell off now and then to wipe away dust that collects between the case and the laptop.
