AirPods Case Size Guide
Each generation of the AirPods charging case is a slightly different shape, so every case here is moulded separately. Pick the one that matches your charging case, not your earbuds.
Find your model
The model number is printed in small type inside the lid of your charging case. You can also open the case next to your iPhone and read the name in the pop-up, or check Settings → Bluetooth and tap the "i" next to your AirPods.

Gen 1 and Gen 2 share a shape, so either case fits both. The Pro cases are wider and shallower than the standard ones and are not interchangeable with them.
AirPods Max
AirPods Max are over-ear headphones and take a different product entirely — two snap-on shells for the ear cups, one size, fitting both 1st and 2nd generation.
What the case does
A hard polycarbonate shell around every visible side, including the lid, with a carabiner so it clips to a bag or a belt loop. Charging works through it, wired and wireless.
